The National Convenience Show, incorporating The Forecourt Show, returns to NEC Birmingham from 24th-26th April 2017, once again bringing together retailers, wholesalers, suppliers and industry experts to share ideas about how to grow sales and profits. With hundreds of exhibitors across NCS2017, The Forecourt Show and the co-located Farm Shop & Deli Show, visitors can access a range of leading brands, products and services to help meet their customers’ needs. Added to this is a 3-day programme of lively, interactive and informative sessions at the Retailer Hub theatre, making NCS2017 the leading industry event to enable retailers to grow their business across the coming year.

Leading suppliers who have already signed up to meet forecourt retailers at the show include CPL Distribution, DSL Group, Subway, Cashzone, HTEC and debang. Two of the leading consumer retail trends for 2016 will also be strongly represented at the show allowing visitors to understand how they can maximise the opportunities on their forecourt and grow their sales. With Food To Go sales set to top £21bn by 2021 it’s a sector that retailers need to get right but one that can be incredibly confusing. NCS2017 will features exhibitors including My Coffee Station, Espresso Essential and Stone Willy Kitchen to help retailers understand the different solutions available to offer a food to go option to their customers. And with consumers increasingly focused on improving their diets, exhibitors including Battle Oats, Nakd & Trek and Propercorn will be available to discuss which healthier products are most suitable for different retail stores.  The Retailer Hub live theatre will also allow forecourt retailers the opportunity to understand latest trends in the industry along with hearing about the latest legislative updates.

Leading parcel collection service supplier Parcelly are gearing up for an exciting show following an extremely busy and successful 2016.  Having secured partnerships with leading convenience wholesalers including Costcutter and P&H, Parcelly are looking forward to meeting new contacts at NCS2017 and talking about the many ways that retailers can benefit commercially from working with them.  Parcelly’s innovative technology offers partnership opportunities along the entire supply chain, including online retailers, large corporations and of course local business partners. Parcelly click&collect locations are not exclusive to convenience shops, but open to a whole host of business and commercial premises, and with a recently diversified technology platform now offering Key Exchange services, every visitor can profit from a conversation with one of the team.

There will also be three award winning retailers, including a forecourt retailer, on site throughout the show to network with visitors and add their unique insight into the latest trends, products and opportunities which are driving their sales growth.  Chris Wardle, Jai Singh and Avtar Sidhu (Sid) will be sharing their success stories from previous shows and demonstrating how a visit to NCS in earlier years has led to increased profits through introducing new products and services. Just last year Sid met a coffee machine supplier at NCS and having installed it over the summer he is already projecting it will have added £15,000 in profit in the first year. As Sid comments:

"When I am looking for new ideas and inspiration, the National Convenience Show is the best source to grow my business in this increasingly competitive market. NCS 2017 will be another fantastic opportunity to find that one "nugget" supplier, product or idea to continue growing my business in 2017 and beyond’’

Whilst Chris Wardle of Jacks Post Office and Convenience Store adds:

‘’NCS is like walking around a real-life Google for retail -  you find out everything you need. You can’t go and not learn something useful that will grow your profits.  Forecourt retailers now need primarily to have a great shop offering which also sells fuel to really grow their business and The Forecourt Show and NCS can give them the advice to do that in one place’’

So, the stage is set for another fantastic year at NCS2017 where visitors can expect to meet leading suppliers, retailers and experts to grow their business. For more information and to register for free please visit: www.nationalconvenienceshow.co.uk
